Aganetha Dyck - Madill, Shirley

As New condition; This book looks at Aganetha Dyck's projects in collaboration with honeybees. The domestic creativity of the home and the nature of the community is paralleled in the hive, a world that exists parallel to our own. Dyck worked with beekeepers and their bees, the product of which is seen in the installation titled The extended Wedding Party. In this work, as with other works in this exhibition, is the experience of Dyck's vision - its accessibility, mystery, provocativeness, suggestiveness, but most of all, its magic.
