As New: An engaging and informative document about Churchill, Manitoba. The completion of the Hudson Bay Railway line to Churchill in 1929 first attracted Angus, a young trapper from Quebec. Angus and Bernice were married in 1945, and a year later Bernice moved to Churchill to join Angus on his trap line at Herriot Creek, 25 miles south of Churchill. With a love of the North born in his trapping days in northern Saskatchewan, Angus grew to appreciate the harsh beauty of the region and immersed himself completely in this new northern culture. Thus began a life long passion to learn more about Churchill's history and convey it to the outside world.
