Lockout: Exploring the rich history and uncertain future of Powerview-Pine Falls, Manitoba - Raymond, Yvonne

Clean, tight, unmarked; bottom back corner slight flayed; otherwise very minimal wear; Powerview - Pine Falls, Manitoba was a prosperous community for 84 years. But September 2009, marked a turning point for the small community Northeast of Winnipeg - the town's main employer, Tembec Inc., locked out about 270 employees because of labour disputes. Within the next year, all of them would lose their jobs. This story explores how this resource town has been affected ever since the closure of the mill, and explores its potential to survive the economic downfall.
