The cookbook contains many recipes for favourite dishes like rice pudding, biscuits, meatloaf...and an amazing recipe for brownies and chocolate icing. It also contains a number of "vintage" recipes which are seldom made in contemporary kitchens. The book is both useful and nostalgic.
