Clean, tight, unmarked a few light scratches to back cover; light crease to upper back inside corner; otherwise very minimal wear; The intention of this project was not only to help foster a general understanding of the historic and contemporary Black Experience in Manitoba, but also to help create a cohesive identity for Black students in Manitoba. A total of 44 people were interviewed for the project. They are representative of all strata of our society. Whether they were doctors or housewives, professional athletes or musicians, railway porters or journalists, each story was very special in itself. The trials and tribulations of living and growing up Black in Canada was recorded so that students could appreciate the multicultural diversity of the province.
