The Stafford Collection of Inuit Sculpture - Wight, Darlene Coward

As New; The Stafford collectionis strong in sculptures from the 1980s to the 2000s. It fills important gaps in the WAG Collection with works created by established artists in the later years of their careers such as Luke Anowtalik, Kiugak Ashoona, Davidee Atchealak, Osuitok Ipeelee, Nuna Parr, Lukta Oiatsuk, Abraham Anghik Ruben, and Aqjangajuk Shaa. The Collection also includes work by younger artists such as Adla Ashevak, Tukiki Manomie, Toonoo Sharky, and Joseph Suqsiak. Stafford was also able to acquire earlier pieces from the 1960s and 1970s by artists such as Karoo Ashevak, John Pangnark, Vital Makpaaq, and John Tiktak.
