Clean, tight, unmarked; slight wear to upper inside corner; otherwise absolute minimal wear; appears unread; When it was completed in 1914, Toronto's Casa Loma was the biggest castle in North Amerca. The wall surrounding it contains as least 250.000 dull-colored stones. Only one is white. How did that white stone get there? This is the story of how it might have happened. In the poorest part of town, little John Tommy Fiddich hears exciting news. Sir Henry M. Pellatt, who brought electric lights to the city, is building a wall around his castle on the hill and will pay a silver dollar for every dull-colored stone accepted. A silver dollar is a fortune to the boy, so he pushes, pulls, and shoves his homemade cart, carrying his single stone, through rain and mud - only to hear that the stone is "worthless." How John Tommy Fiddich is finally rewarded for his hard work makes for a charming story, as magical as the great castle that inspired it.
