SIGNED BY MICHAEL EWANCHUK on title page; Clean, tight, unmarked; rubbing. previous owner's personal stamp on ffep and title page; slight wear to corners; otherwise very minimal wear; appears unread; This book is not a critique of Kurelek's art but an account of the artist as a man. Ewanchuk draws upon his personal acquaintance with Kurelek, a personal interview with him, interviews with those who knew him in his youth, and some of Kurelek's hitherto unpublished correspondence. Gifted but tortured, Kurelek left a lasting legacy to all Canadians. Very Good Soft cover Derksen Printers and M. Ewanchuk Pub 1996 Steinbach, MB
